Holding a Master I (Maitrise) in Business Law from the University Panthéon Sorbonne (Paris I) and a Master II Professional, Specialized in Tax Law (Former DESS of Applied Taxation) from the University René Descartes (Paris V), Mariama Ciré TRAORE has more than 15 years of experience in the field of tax and legal counsel.

Before joining Fiduxis in September 2022, Mariama Ciré has been working for 15 years as a tax and legal advisor at Ernst & Young Guinea where she has evolved from Junior Consultant to Associate Director.

She has provided tax and legal assistance to companies in various sectors (mining, banking, telecoms, energy, etc.), including tax and legal due diligence, assistance with tax and customs negotiations for mining and PPP agreements, assistance with tax audits, tax and legal structuring of projects and tax and legal support for development projects in Guinea.

 She has an expertise in the Guinean tax and legal environment through a sustained practice of the Guinean and surrounding countries’ tax regulations as well as the OHADA (Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa) legal standards. In this capacity, Mariama Ciré has also led numerous tax consulting and auditing missions in Mali.
